Job Description

The Sustainability Program Coordinator will play a crucial role in developing and implementing sustainability initiatives across various sectors within Kebbi State. This includes designing and managing programs focused on environmental conservation, waste management, renewable energy, and climate change mitigation. The successful candidate will work closely with government agencies, local communities, and private sector partners to achieve our sustainability goals. This role requires a strong understanding of sustainable development principles, excellent project management skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders. You will be responsible for tracking progress, preparing reports, and securing funding for various sustainability programs. A key aspect of this role involves fostering collaboration and building strong relationships with key players in the region to ensure successful program implementation and long-term sustainability. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sustainability programs aligned with state-wide goals.

  • Collaborate with government agencies, NGOs, and community organizations.
  • Prepare regular progress reports and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

  • Develop and deliver training workshops on sustainability best practices.

  • Strong understanding of the local context and community needs.
