Job Description
We are seeking a diligent, experienced, and trustworthy Live-in Domestic Household Cleaner to join a private residence under the management of Adkan Services Nigeria Limited. Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, and wiping surfaces in all rooms (bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, living areas, etc.).
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, showers, bathtubs, sinks, and mirrors.
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness, including washing dishes, cleaning countertops, appliances (microwave, oven, refrigerator), and tidying pantry areas.
- Handle laundry duties, including washing, drying, ironing, folding, and organizing clothes and linens.
- Change bed linens regularly and ensure bedrooms are kept neat and tidy.
- Manage household waste and recycling, ensuring proper disposal and maintaining cleanliness of waste bins.
- Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces to ensure streak-free appearance.
- Replenish household supplies such as toiletries, cleaning products, and kitchen essentials, reporting needs to the employer.
- Assist with organizing and decluttering various areas of the home.
- Report any maintenance issues or damage observed within the residence.
- Adhere to strict hygiene and safety standards at all times.
- Perform other reasonable domestic duties as required to maintain a high standard of household management.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a domestic cleaner or housekeeper (minimum 12 months)
- Thorough knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment
- Ability to operate standard cleaning machinery and tools efficiently
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive work ethic
- Reliability, honesty, and a high level of integrity
- Physical stamina and ability to perform demanding cleaning tasks
