Osun State University Teaching Hospital (OSUNTH) is seeking highly experienced and dedicated Senior Doctors to join our distinguished medical team as Consultants across various specialties. Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert clinical care, diagnosis, and treatment to patients within your specialty, including ward rounds, outpatient clinics, and emergency consultations.
- Lead and supervise junior medical staff, residents, and medical students, contributing actively to their training and professional development.
- Participate in and initiate clinical research projects, contributing to medical literature and the advancement of healthcare practices.
- Perform complex surgical procedures or medical interventions as dictated by your specialty and patient needs.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including nurses, allied health professionals, and other consultants, to ensure holistic patient management.
- Contribute to departmental meetings, policy development, and quality assurance initiatives aimed at improving patient outcomes and hospital services.
- Maintain accurate and thorough patient records in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
- Participate in on-call rotations and provide emergency coverage as required by the department.
- Engage in continuous professional development and adhere to all medical ethical guidelines and regulatory requirements.
