Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Research Associate (CRA) to join our growing team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in conducting clinical trials, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines, and contributing to the advancement of healthcare. This is a full-time position based in Ado Ekiti, Ekiti State, offering a competitive salary and benefits package. The CRA will be responsible for managing all aspects of clinical trials, from site initiation to close-out, while working closely with investigators, study monitors, and other team members. A strong understanding of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and relevant regulations is essential, as is the ability to work independently and as part of a team. This position requires extensive travel within Ekiti State and potentially to other regions in Nigeria, depending on the ongoing clinical trials.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with investigators and site personnel.
  • Conduct site visits, monitoring, and audits in accordance with GCP and study protocols.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and guidelines.
  • Collect, review, and analyze clinical trial data.
  • Prepare and submit clinical trial reports.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of study protocols.
  • Participate in study team meetings and provide regular updates.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all clinical trial activities.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during clinical trials.

Required Skills

  • Strong understanding of GCP and ICH guidelines
  • Experience in conducting clinical trials
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in data management and analysis
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Detail-oriented and meticulous approach to work
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant healthcare field (e.g., nursing, pharmacy, or medical sciences)
  • At least 3 years of experience as a CRA
  • Experience with various therapeutic areas
  • Experience with electronic data capture (EDC) systems
  • Knowledge of relevant Nigerian regulatory requirements
