Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Pharmaceutical Sales Representative to join our dynamic sales team in Abuja, FCT. This role involves managing an assigned territory, promoting Fidson Healthcare’s diverse portfolio of pharmaceutical products to healthcare professionals, including doctors, pharmacists, and hospitals. You will be instrumental in building strong, lasting relationships with key clients, educating them on the features and benefits of our products, and ultimately driving sales growth. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical market, and a passion for healthcare. This is a field-based role requiring regular travel within your designated territory, demanding strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently to achieve ambitious sales targets. You will be a crucial link between our company and the medical community, ensuring our products reach those who need them most while upholding the highest standards of professional conduct and ethical representation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong, credible relationships with healthcare professionals, including physicians, pharmacists, nurses, and hospital administrators within the assigned territory.
- Promote Fidson Healthcare Plc's pharmaceutical products effectively through regular face-to-face meetings, presentations, and product detailing.
- Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the assigned product portfolio.
- Conduct comprehensive market analysis to identify new business opportunities, understand competitor activities, and adapt sales strategies accordingly.
- Organize and participate in medical events, seminars, and product launches to enhance brand visibility and product awareness.
- Provide healthcare professionals with accurate and up-to-date product information, clinical data, and therapeutic benefits.
- Prepare and submit regular reports on sales activities, market feedback, and territory performance.
- Manage and optimize territory routing and scheduling to ensure efficient coverage and maximum client engagement.
- Ensure strict compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical guidelines in all sales and marketing activities.
Required Skills
- Proven track record of success in pharmaceutical sales or a related medical field.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong understanding of the Nigerian healthcare industry and market dynamics.
- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships effectively.
- Results-oriented with a strong drive to achieve and surpass sales targets.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Pharmacology, Biological Sciences, or a related medical field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative.
