Key Responsibilities
- Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment manually or using basic machinery.
- Clean and prepare construction sites by removing debris, waste, and hazardous materials.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (e.g., masons, carpenters, electricians) with their tasks as required.
- Operate and maintain a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Dig trenches, backfill excavations, and compact earth.
- Perform general maintenance and repair duties on site facilities and equipment.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Transport materials between work areas, ensuring proper storage and organization.
- Help with the erection and dismantling of temporary structures, such as scaffolding and barricades.
- Adhere to project schedules and complete assigned tasks efficiently.
- Report any safety concerns or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor immediately.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to achieve project goals.
