Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching of goods.
- Oversee and manage the scheduling of delivery routes and optimize transportation logistics to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock checks to ensure data integrity and minimize discrepancies.
- Liaise effectively with suppliers, transporters, and internal departments to resolve any issues related to shipments, deliveries, or inventory.
- Monitor and track shipments from dispatch to delivery, providing updates and resolving any potential delays or complications.
- Implement and enforce health, safety, and security standards within the warehouse and during delivery processes.
- Prepare comprehensive logistics reports, including key performance indicators (KPIs) on delivery times, costs, and inventory accuracy.
- Utilize logistics software and systems to streamline operations, track metrics, and improve overall efficiency.
- Assist in the training and supervision of warehouse and delivery staff to ensure adherence to operational procedures.
- Proactively identify and address potential operational bottlenecks or inefficiencies and propose solutions.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse management.
- Proven experience with inventory management systems and logistics software.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, distribution, and transportation regulations.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of liaising with diverse stakeholders.
