Key Responsibilities
- Assist skilled workers (e.g., masons, carpenters, electricians) with various tasks as directed.
- Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment manually or using basic machinery.
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and leveling ground.
- Operate hand tools and power tools under supervision (e.g., shovels, picks, wheelbarrows, jackhammers).
- Clean and maintain work areas, ensuring a safe and organized environment.
- Remove rubble and other waste materials from construction sites.
- Follow all safety procedures and regulations, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Perform general laboring duties, such as mixing concrete, laying out materials, and fetching supplies.
- Support the setup and dismantling of temporary structures like scaffolding or barriers.
- Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions to site supervisors immediately.
Required Skills
- Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor.
