Key Responsibilities
- Manage patient scheduling, appointments, and registrations with accuracy and efficiency.
- Maintain and organize patient medical records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA principles, local data protection laws).
- Handle incoming and outgoing communications, including phone calls, emails, and mail, directing inquiries appropriately.
- Prepare and process patient forms, insurance documentation, and billing information.
- Assist medical staff with administrative tasks, such as transcribing notes, preparing reports, and managing office supplies.
- Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience.
- Manage waiting room areas, ensuring cleanliness and comfort.
- Process payments and maintain accurate financial records.
- Coordinate referrals to other medical specialists or services as needed.
- Ensure the medical office operates smoothly by troubleshooting administrative issues.
Required Skills
- Proven administrative or secretarial experience, preferably in a medical office setting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
