Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner, helping them locate desired merchandise.
- Provide comprehensive product information, features, and benefits, offering personalized recommendations.
- Efficiently process sales transactions using the Point of Sale (POS) system, including cash, card, and mobile payments.
- Professionally handle customer inquiries, complaints, returns, and exchanges, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor, fitting rooms, and stock areas.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, including receiving deliveries, stocking shelves, and conducting stock counts.
- Actively promote current sales, special offers, and loyalty programs to maximize sales opportunities.
- Work towards achieving individual and team sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth store operations and a cohesive work environment.
- Adhere strictly to all company policies and procedures, including security protocols and health and safety guidelines.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with a positive and engaging personality.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced retail setting.
- Strong customer service orientation with a genuine desire to assist and satisfy customers.
- Basic mathematical aptitude and comfort with handling cash and processing transactions.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light lifting (up to 15 kg).
- Flexibility to work varied retail hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- A minimum of 6 months of experience in a retail sales or customer service environment.
- Matriculation certificate or an equivalent qualification.
