Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Legal Compliance Officer to join our team in Awka, Anambra State. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the company’s adherence to all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies. This role requires a strong understanding of Nigerian legal frameworks, meticulous attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. You will play a crucial role in mitigating legal risks and ensuring the smooth and compliant operation of our business activities. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement legal compliance programs and policies.
- Conduct regular compliance audits and assessments.
- Monitor and interpret changes in relevant laws and regulations.
- Provide legal advice and guidance to various departments.
- Investigate and resolve compliance-related issues.
- Prepare and present compliance reports to senior management.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Collaborate with external legal counsel as needed.
- Conduct training sessions on compliance-related topics.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations.
