Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of menu items, including burgers, chips, and other fast-food offerings, according to Steers' recipes and quality standards.
- Operate various kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including grills, fryers, and ovens.
- Maintain a clean and organised work station, adhering strictly to all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Monitor food stock levels, rotate ingredients, and report any shortages to the kitchen manager.
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, portioning ingredients, and assembling orders.
- Ensure consistency in food presentation and taste across all dishes.
- Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff and front-of-house team members to ensure smooth service flow.
- Handle raw and cooked food products appropriately to prevent cross-contamination.
- Follow all health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Assist with inventory management and receiving deliveries as needed.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment, preferably in fast food.
- Basic culinary skills and knowledge of cooking techniques.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong understanding and adherence to food safety and hygiene regulations (HACCP principles desirable).
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

Preferred Qualifications
