Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in residential properties.
- Perform basic electrical tasks such as pulling wires, installing outlets, switches, and light fixtures under direct supervision.
- Troubleshoot minor electrical issues and identify potential problems with residential electrical systems.
- Ensure all work is performed in strict compliance with relevant safety codes, company policies, and industry standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring tools and equipment are properly cared for, stored, and accounted for.
- Prepare work sites by setting up safety barriers, gathering necessary materials, and ensuring proper ventilation.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members, providing updates and reporting any issues or progress.
- Learn and diligently apply new electrical techniques, technologies, and best practices as guided by senior staff.
- Assist with material handling, including the loading, unloading, and transportation of equipment and supplies.
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify and address hazards or potential repairs proactively.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of electrical principles, circuits, and wiring systems.

- Ordinary National Diploma (OND) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Electrical Engineering or a relevant technical discipline.
- Familiarity with local electrical codes, regulations, and inspection requirements specific to Lagos.
- Proven record of reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
