Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective music lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
- Develop and implement creative schemes of work and diverse teaching resources.
- Organise and lead extracurricular music activities such as choirs, bands, and musical theatre productions.
- Contribute to school events, concerts, and performances.
- Maintain a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues in the Arts department and across the school.
- Participate in professional development and training opportunities.
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student progress and welfare.
Required Skills
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A degree in Music or a related subject.
