Key Responsibilities
- Assist the marketing and design team in the conceptualisation and creation of various visual assets for both print and digital platforms.
- Develop engaging graphics for social media posts, website content, email marketing campaigns, and professional presentations.
- Support the design and layout of essential marketing collateral, including brochures, flyers, advertisements, and promotional materials.
- Contribute to the conceptualisation and execution of new design ideas and creative solutions under the direct guidance of senior designers.
- Ensure all developed designs meticulously adhere to Bidvest Paperplus's established brand guidelines and maintain consistent visual identity across all touchpoints.
- Prepare design files accurately for print production, ensuring optimal quality, colour consistency, and technical specifications.
- Perform image retouching, resizing, manipulation, and optimisation as required for various media.
- Actively participate in brainstorming sessions and provide constructive creative input and fresh perspectives.
- Research current graphic design trends, industry best practices, and innovative technologies to inform design decisions.
- Assist with the efficient organisation, cataloguing, and archiving of digital design assets.
Required Skills
- Foundational understanding of graphic design principles (layout, typography, colour theory, composition).
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Strong visual sense and a keen eye for aesthetics, detail, and visual hierarchy.
- Ability to take clear direction, integrate feedback, and work effectively as a collaborative team member.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for presenting ideas and engaging with stakeholders.
