Key Responsibilities
- Sort and meticulously separate all hotel linen, including guest laundry, staff uniforms, and facility textiles, categorizing them by fabric type, color, and level of soiling.
- Operate industrial washing machines and dryers efficiently according to specified cycles and procedures, strictly adhering to manufacturer guidelines and safety protocols.
- Expertly pre-treat stains and apply appropriate stain removal techniques to ensure linen cleanliness and longevity.
- Iron, press, and carefully fold a diverse variety of linen items to consistently meet the hotel's exacting presentation standards.
- Maintain the highest levels of cleanliness and organization within the entire laundry area, including all equipment and work surfaces, at all times.
- Inspect all finished laundry thoroughly for quality assurance, ensuring no damaged or stained items are returned to circulation.
- Report any equipment malfunctions, damage to linen, or supply shortages to the Laundry Supervisor promptly and accurately.
- Adhere strictly to all established health, safety, and hygiene standards and procedures, promoting a safe working environment.
- Assist with the accurate inventory management of laundry supplies and linen as and when required.
- Collaborate effectively and harmoniously with housekeeping and other hotel departments to ensure a seamless and efficient flow of operations.
Required Skills
