Equity Bank is seeking a highly organized, professional, and customer-focused individual to join our vibrant team in Isiolo, Isiolo County, as a Receptionist & Administrative Assistant. Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome clients, visitors, and staff with professionalism and a positive demeanor.
- Manage the main reception area, ensuring it is tidy, presentable, and well-maintained.
- Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls promptly and courteously.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries, ensuring proper record-keeping.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and conference room bookings for staff.
- Provide comprehensive administrative support, including data entry, filing, scanning, and photocopying.
- Assist with the preparation of reports, presentations, and correspondence as required.
- Order and maintain office supplies inventory, ensuring adequate stock levels.
- Handle basic inquiries and provide accurate information to clients or direct them to the appropriate department.
- Support the management team with various ad-hoc administrative tasks and projects.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and documents.
- Assist in organizing company events or internal team activities.
- Ensure compliance with bank policies and procedures in all administrative functions.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Receptionist, Administrative Assistant, or similar role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Swahili.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Exceptional customer service orientation and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise.
- High degree of professionalism and discretion.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Office Management, or a related field.
