Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Community Health Officer (CHO) to join our dynamic team in Dutse, Jigawa. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in delivering essential primary healthcare services directly to communities, particularly in rural and underserved areas. This position involves active engagement with community members, providing vital health education on topics such as hygiene, nutrition, family planning, and disease prevention, thereby empowering individuals and families to adopt healthy lifestyles and make informed health decisions.
As a CHO, you will be an ambassador for public health, conducting comprehensive disease surveillance to identify and report outbreaks promptly, administering basic treatments for common ailments, and facilitating access to higher levels of care when necessary. Key Responsibilities
