Key Responsibilities
- Execute daily cleaning tasks across all areas of the gym including gym floor, changing rooms, showers, toilets, studio spaces, and reception.
- Sanitise all gym equipment, including weights, machines, and cardio equipment, following strict hygiene protocols.
- Vacuum, mop, and sweep floors to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Empty bins and manage waste disposal efficiently.
- Replenish toiletries and cleaning supplies as needed, reporting stock levels to management.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including COSHH guidelines, for the safe use of cleaning chemicals.
- Report any maintenance issues, damage, or hazards observed during cleaning shifts.
- Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor when interacting with members and staff.
Required Skills
- Proven ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and a high standard of cleanliness.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Physical stamina and the ability to perform tasks requiring bending, lifting, and prolonged standing.
