Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager with a proven track record of success to join our growing team in Lekki, Lagos. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of project management methodologies. This role requires a PMP certification and a minimum of 5 years of experience in managing complex projects, preferably within the IT or Fintech industry. You will be responsible for planning, executing, monitoring, controlling, and closing projects within budget and timelines, while ensuring high-quality deliverables. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and clients to achieve project objectives and contribute to the overall success of Chams Plc. This role demands a proactive individual with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and adapt to evolving priorities. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills are critical for success in this dynamic environment. You will be expected to adhere to company standards and guidelines throughout the project lifecycle and contribute to the ongoing improvement of our project management processes. The successful candidate will be a key member of a collaborative and high-performing team, contributing to a positive and productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams, ensuring effective collaboration and communication.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure projects are completed within budget.
- Communicate project status to stakeholders, including regular updates and reports.
