Job Description

Are you an ambitious and results-driven sales professional with a proven track record in corporate account management? Flour Mills of Nigeria Plc is seeking an experienced Sales Executive to join our dynamic team in Yangoji, Abuja. This pivotal role involves identifying, developing, and maintaining strong relationships with key corporate clients and distributors within the assigned territory. You will be instrumental in expanding our market share, driving sales volumes for our diverse portfolio of products, and ensuring client satisfaction through exceptional service. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the FMCG market, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to consistently meet and exceed sales targets. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual passionate about making a significant impact within a leading Nigerian conglomerate, contributing directly to our growth objectives and solidifying our market leadership in the region. You will be expected to strategically plan and execute sales initiatives, analyze market trends, and provide insightful feedback to enhance our product offerings and sales strategies, ensuring our continued success and relevance in a competitive landscape.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed corporate sales targets within the assigned Yangoji, Abuja territory.
  • Identify and prospect new corporate clients and distributors, expanding the company's customer base and market reach.
  • Manage and nurture existing client relationships, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, retention, and repeat business.
  • Conduct regular market analysis to identify new business opportunities, competitive activities, and emerging market trends, providing actionable insights.
  • Prepare and present compelling sales proposals, negotiate contracts, and close sales effectively and profitably.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., marketing, logistics, finance) to ensure seamless service delivery and comprehensive client support.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and regular reports on sales performance, market intelligence, and client feedback.
  • Represent FMN at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings as required, enhancing brand visibility and reputation.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in B2B or corporate sales, preferably within the FMCG, Food & Beverage, or Manufacturing sectors.
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting and exceeding sales targets and key performance indicators.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent relationship-building and client management abilities, with a customer-centric approach.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for reporting and presentations.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Business or Marketing.
  • Experience using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics) to manage sales pipelines.
  • Familiarity with the Abuja market and established distribution channels within the region.
  • Professional certification in Sales or Marketing from a recognized institution.
