Krystal Facilities Management is seeking a highly skilled, detail-oriented, and professional Plumber to join our dedicated team, serving both household and office clients within Kukwuaba, Abuja. This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless operation of plumbing systems across various properties, from routine maintenance tasks to complex installations and emergency repairs. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of diverse plumbing systems, a commitment to quality workmanship, and exceptional problem-solving abilities. You will be responsible for diagnosing issues accurately, recommending appropriate solutions, and executing repairs and installations efficiently and safely, adhering strictly to industry standards and company protocols. Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance on plumbing systems in residential and commercial properties, including pipes, drains, fittings, valves, and fixtures.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex plumbing issues, such as leaks, blockages, clogs, and malfunctions in water heaters, pumps, and other related equipment.
- Install, repair, and replace various plumbing components, including water supply lines, drainage systems, sanitary fixtures (toilets, sinks), and appliances.
- Respond promptly to emergency plumbing call-outs, assessing situations quickly and implementing effective, lasting solutions to minimize damage and disruption.
- Inspect plumbing systems to identify potential problems, ensuring compliance with local plumbing codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
- Provide clear, concise explanations of plumbing problems and proposed solutions to clients, offering accurate cost estimates and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and hours spent on each job, contributing to efficient inventory management and billing processes.
- Collaborate with other facilities management team members (e.g., electricians, HVAC technicians) to address integrated property maintenance challenges.
- Continuously update knowledge of new plumbing technologies, materials, and best practices through ongoing training and professional development.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a professional plumber, demonstrating expertise in both household and office plumbing systems.
- Extensive knowledge of plumbing tools, materials, equipment, and methods of installation and repair.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex plumbing issues effectively.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and plumbing diagrams.
