Key Responsibilities
- Provide attentive and engaging supervision for children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities, games, and creative play to foster intellectual, emotional, and physical development.
- Prepare healthy, nutritious meals and snacks for the children, adhering to any dietary restrictions or preferences.
- Manage and maintain children’s daily schedules, including naps, mealtimes, school routines, and extracurricular activities.
- Assist children with homework and school projects, providing support and encouragement.
- Ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of children’s play areas, bedrooms, and personal belongings.
- Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and other personal hygiene routines.
- Communicate effectively and regularly with parents regarding children’s progress, daily activities, and any concerns.
- Organize and oversee outdoor play, excursions, and social interactions.
- Perform light housekeeping duties related to the children, such as laundry and tidying up.
- Administer basic first aid when necessary and manage minor ailments.
- Act as a positive role model, demonstrating appropriate behavior and values.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable professional experience as a nanny or childcare provider.
- Genuine love for children and a deep understanding of child development stages.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English.
- Proven ability to create a stimulating, safe, and organized environment for children.
- Strong sense of responsibility, punctuality, and trustworthiness.
- Patience, creativity, and adaptability in handling various childcare situations.
