Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily litter picking, sweeping, and removal of refuse from streets, pavements, and public spaces within designated areas of Brixton.
- Empty and clean public litter bins and dog waste bins, ensuring they are maintained to a high standard.
- Operate specialist cleansing equipment, including mechanical sweepers and pressure washers, safely and efficiently (training provided).
- Identify and report instances of fly-tipping, graffiti, hazardous waste, and other environmental infractions to relevant teams for appropriate action.
- Respond to public complaints and requests regarding street cleanliness in a professional and courteous manner.
- Adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations and council policies while carrying out duties.
- Work effectively as part of a team, demonstrating reliability, punctuality, and a positive attitude.
- Maintain a high standard of personal presentation and wear issued protective clothing at all times.

- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and walking for extended periods.

Preferred Qualifications
