Job Description
Flour Mills of Nigeria Plc is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Quality Control Inspector to join our team in Calabar, Cross River State. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of our agricultural products throughout the entire production process. This involves meticulous inspection, testing, and documentation to maintain the highest standards and meet customer expectations. You will be a vital part of our commitment to delivering exceptional quality and building trust with our consumers. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to upholding strict quality control measures within a fast-paced agricultural production environment. You will collaborate closely with production teams and management to identify and address quality issues promptly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished agricultural products to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
- Perform various quality control tests and analyses, accurately documenting results and findings.
- Identify and report quality issues and discrepancies promptly to the relevant personnel.
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, test results, and any non-conformances.
- Collaborate with production teams to implement corrective actions to address quality issues.
- Assist in developing and improving quality control procedures and protocols.
- Ensure adherence to all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Participate in regular quality control meetings and training sessions.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of quality control principles and practices in the agricultural industry.
- Experience with various quality control testing methods and equipment.
