Key Responsibilities
- Safely and punctually transport the private employer and family members to various destinations.
- Maintain the assigned vehicle in pristine condition, including regular cleaning, refueling, and routine checks (oil, water, tires, lights, etc.).
- Plan optimal routes, considering traffic conditions, road closures, and client preferences, using navigation tools efficiently.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and readiness.
- Assist with loading and unloading luggage, groceries, and other items.
- Perform general errands and deliveries as requested by the employer.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding the employer's activities and personal information.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, ensuring a safe and legal driving experience.
- Keep accurate records of vehicle mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance schedules.
- Be available for scheduled and unscheduled driving assignments, including evenings and weekends, as required by the employer's schedule.
- Communicate effectively and respectfully with the employer and other household staff.
Required Skills
- Valid Nigerian Driver's License (Class E or G)
- Minimum of 3 years of professional driving experience, preferably for a private individual or corporate executive.
- Excellent knowledge of Lagos road networks, especially Isheri and surrounding areas.
- Proven track record of safe driving with no major accidents or traffic violations.
- Strong understanding of basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
- High level of integrity, discretion, and reliability.
