Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Psychotherapist to join our established and thriving clinic in Chelsea, London. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to become an integral part of a multidisciplinary team dedicated to delivering outstanding mental health care. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive psychological assessment, formulation, and intervention for individuals presenting with diverse psychological challenges. You will work with a varied client base, including adults and possibly adolescents, addressing issues such as anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, personality disorders, and adjustment issues.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough psychological assessments, including risk assessments, to develop comprehensive formulations and treatment plans.
- Deliver evidence-based psychotherapy to individuals, utilising a range of therapeutic modalities appropriate to client needs.
- Manage an independent caseload of diverse clients, ensuring timely and effective intervention.
- Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date clinical records in accordance with professional guidelines and clinic policies.
- Collaborate effectively with other clinicians within the clinic and external professionals where appropriate, ensuring integrated care.
- Participate in regular clinical supervision, case discussions, and team meetings to ensure best practice and professional development.
- Contribute to the positive reputation and growth of The Chelsea Psychology Clinic through excellent clinical outcomes and professional conduct.
- Adhere strictly to ethical guidelines and professional standards set by relevant professional bodies (e.g., BACP, UKCP, HCPC).
- Engage in continuous professional development activities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
Required Skills
- Accredited Psychotherapist status with a recognized professional body (e.g., BACP, UKCP, HCPC).
- Minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience in providing psychotherapy in a clinical setting.
- Demonstrable expertise in delivering a range of therapeutic modalities (e.g., CBT, Psychodynamic, Integrative).
- Excellent assessment, formulation, and risk management skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work autonomously while also being a collaborative team member.
- Proficiency in maintaining accurate and confidential clinical records.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to ethical guidelines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Additional specialist training or accreditation in specific therapeutic areas (e.g., trauma, couples therapy, eating disorders).
- Experience working with a high-net-worth client base or in a private practice setting.
- Postgraduate qualification (Master's or Doctorate) in Psychotherapy or a related field.
- Experience in delivering supervision to other psychotherapists or trainees.
- Proficiency in multiple languages is a plus, though not essential.
