Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly, approachable, and professional manner, always aiming to exceed their expectations.
- Provide accurate product information, recommend items, and help customers make informed purchasing decisions.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems efficiently, handle cash and card transactions accurately, and process returns or exchanges.
- Actively engage in sales by identifying customer needs and suggesting relevant products or promotions.
- Maintain the visual appeal of the store by merchandising products, replenishing stock, and ensuring displays are neat and attractive.
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving deliveries, checking stock, and reporting discrepancies.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of the sales floor, till points, and stock room.
- Resolve customer queries and complaints with patience and professionalism, escalating issues to management when necessary.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve daily sales targets and operational goals.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven customer service experience, ideally in a retail or hospitality setting.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a genuine passion for helping people.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills for handling transactions and product information.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong sense of responsibility.
