We are actively seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Construction Assistant to join our dynamic team in Ikeja GRA, Ikeja, specifically focusing on site support for temporary lodging arrangements. This is a crucial temporary role designed to provide essential logistical and administrative assistance to ensure the smooth operation of our construction sites, particularly concerning the accommodation and welfare of our temporary site personnel. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing the temporary lodging facilities, ensuring they are well-maintained, adequately stocked, and provide a comfortable and safe environment for our workers. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the coordination and management of temporary lodging facilities for construction site personnel.
- Oversee the inventory and procurement of lodging supplies, including bedding, toiletries, and basic amenities.
- Liaise with external vendors and service providers for lodging maintenance, cleaning, and utility services.
- Coordinate transportation arrangements for personnel to and from temporary accommodations and the construction site.
- Maintain accurate records of lodging occupancy, supply usage, and related expenses.
- Conduct regular inspections of temporary lodging to ensure cleanliness, safety, and adherence to company standards.
- Assist with general administrative tasks on-site, including documentation, report generation, and data entry.
- Support the site management team in addressing personnel welfare concerns related to lodging.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within all temporary accommodation facilities.
- Help in resolving any issues or challenges related to temporary housing swiftly and efficiently.
