Key Responsibilities
- Sort all soiled linen and towels according to type, color, and degree of soil.
- Operate and monitor industrial washing machines, dryers, and ironing equipment efficiently and safely.
- Load and unload laundry machines, ensuring correct water temperature, detergent, and cycle settings.
- Inspect laundered items for cleanliness, damage, and wear, removing stained or damaged items for appropriate action.
- Fold, press, and neatly stack clean linen, towels, and uniforms according to hotel standards.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the laundry area, including equipment, floors, and storage shelves.
- Report any malfunctioning equipment or maintenance issues to the supervisor promptly.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations and guidelines.
- Assist with inventory management of linen, reporting shortages or excess.
- Contribute to a positive and cooperative team environment.
