Key Responsibilities
- Assist skilled carpenters in various tasks, including framing, roofing, installing structures and fixtures, and performing finishing work.
- Learn to accurately measure, cut, and shape wood, drywall, and other construction materials using hand and power tools.
- Help interpret blueprints and construction drawings to understand project specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring tools and materials are stored safely and efficiently.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, utilizing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Transport materials and assist with site clean-up as required.
- Develop proficiency in the safe operation and maintenance of carpentry tools and equipment.
- Collaborate effectively with other construction team members to achieve project goals.
- Demonstrate a strong eagerness to learn and proactively seek opportunities to develop new skills.
