Key Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Handle cash, credit/debit card payments, and other forms of tender with integrity and precision.
- Greet customers warmly, provide helpful assistance, and ensure a pleasant checkout experience.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and tidy checkout area at all times.
- Scan items carefully, ensuring correct pricing and applying discounts or promotions as applicable.
- Assist customers with queries regarding products, pricing, and store services.
- Balance the cash register at the beginning and end of each shift, accounting for all transactions.
- Adhere to all store policies and procedures, especially regarding age-restricted sales.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations and excellent customer flow.
- Inform customers about current promotions, loyalty programs, and special offers.

- Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail for accurate transaction processing.
