We are seeking a highly skilled, compassionate, and experienced Nanny to become an indispensable part of a private family’s household in Banana Island, Ikoyi. Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive and attentive childcare, including supervision, feeding, bathing, and dressing.
- Plan and implement educational and recreational activities suitable for various age groups, fostering intellectual and creative development.
- Manage children’s schedules, including school drop-offs and pick-ups, after-school activities, and appointments.
- Assist with homework and school projects, ensuring academic progress and engagement.
- Prepare healthy and nutritious meals and snacks for the children, accommodating dietary needs.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment for the children, including tidying play areas and children's rooms.
- Facilitate children's social development through playdates and outings.
- Administer basic first aid and manage minor illnesses; maintain children’s health records.
- Communicate regularly and effectively with parents regarding children’s progress, activities, and any concerns.
- Travel with the family as required, ensuring continuity of care.
- Adhere to family’s preferred routines, values, and disciplinary approaches.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of verifiable experience as a professional Nanny or in a similar childcare role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English.
- Demonstrated ability to create a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for children.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain immediately).
