Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior carpenters in all phases of woodwork, including measuring, cutting, shaping, and assembling wooden components for various construction projects.
- Prepare and organize construction materials, tools, and equipment in the workshop and at project sites.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools are properly stored and in good working condition.
- Operate basic hand and power tools safely and efficiently under supervision.
- Help with the installation of fixtures, fittings, and other wooden structures as required.
- Load and unload materials, and transport them to designated areas.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Support general site and workshop cleanup efforts.
- Learn and apply new carpentry techniques and skills as guided by experienced professionals.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support workshop operations and project needs.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of carpentry techniques and principles.
- Familiarity with common carpentry hand and power tools.
