Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cleaning Supervisor with a strong background in residential settings to join our growing team in Rusizi, Western Province. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing a team of cleaning staff dedicated to maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene standards of various residential properties. Key Responsibilities
- Lead, supervise, and motivate a team of cleaning personnel assigned to various residential properties, ensuring adherence to schedules and quality standards.
- Develop and implement detailed cleaning schedules and routines for residential clients, adapting to specific property requirements.
- Conduct regular inspections of residential properties to ensure cleaning standards are consistently met and address any deficiencies promptly.
- Provide on-the-job training and guidance to cleaning staff on best practices, safety procedures, and the proper use of cleaning equipment and chemicals.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels and proper maintenance of all tools.
- Address client inquiries, concerns, and feedback regarding cleaning services in a professional and timely manner, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Prepare daily and weekly reports on team performance, completed tasks, and any issues encountered.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies.
- Assist with hands-on cleaning tasks as needed, especially during staff shortages or for specialized cleaning requirements.
- Foster a positive and productive work environment, promoting teamwork and professional development among staff.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning supervision, specifically within residential environments.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a track record of motivating and developing staff.
- Excellent knowledge of residential cleaning techniques, products, and equipment.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, fluent in Kinyarwanda and English.
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Understanding of health and safety regulations relevant to cleaning operations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Diploma or certification in Hospitality Management, Facilities Management, or a related field.
