Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and meticulous Laundry Attendant to join our dynamic Housekeeping team at Eko Hotel & Suites. As a Laundry Attendant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and presentation that our guests expect. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure all hotel linens, uniforms, and guest laundry are processed efficiently, hygienically, and to impeccable quality standards. This is a hands-on role requiring attention to detail, physical stamina, and a commitment to teamwork. You will be an integral part of our operation, directly contributing to the comfort and satisfaction of our guests by ensuring a continuous supply of pristine linen. Key Responsibilities
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, press, and organize all hotel linens, towels, uniforms, and guest laundry according to established procedures and schedules.
- Operate and maintain laundry machinery, including washers, dryers, and pressing equipment, ensuring safe and efficient usage.
- Inspect all items for stains, damage, and wear, treating stains appropriately and reporting damaged items for repair or replacement.
- Manage inventory of laundry supplies, chemicals, and linen, notifying supervisors of needs to ensure continuous operation.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and hygiene standards within the laundry department and hotel premises.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times, including regular cleaning of laundry equipment and work areas.
- Assist in the delivery and collection of linen to and from various hotel departments as required.
- Handle guest laundry requests with discretion, care, and efficiency, ensuring timely return.
- Collaborate effectively with the housekeeping team and other hotel departments to support overall operations.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately to the supervisor.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, including those related to uniform, grooming, and attendance.
Required Skills
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy loads (up to 25 kg), and perform repetitive tasks.
- Basic understanding of laundry processes and equipment operation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

- Basic literacy for reading instructions and labels.
- Commitment to maintaining high hygiene standards.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Laundry Attendant, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting.
