Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and meticulous Cleaner to join our exceptional Hotel Housekeeping team. Key Responsibilities
- Clean and tidy all assigned guest rooms and public areas (lobbies, hallways, restrooms, dining areas, conference rooms) to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Perform deep cleaning tasks as scheduled, including vacuuming carpets, mopping floors, polishing furniture, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Replenish guest room supplies (linens, towels, toiletries) and ensure all amenities are present and in good working order.
- Make beds neatly and professionally, adhering to hotel standards.
- Empty trash receptacles and transport waste to designated disposal areas.
- Report any maintenance issues, damage, or safety hazards immediately to the supervisor.
- Handle guest requests promptly and courteously, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction.
- Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations, including the proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Maintain a polite, friendly, and helpful demeanor towards guests and colleagues at all times.
- Assist with laundry operations when required, including sorting, washing, drying, and folding linens.
- Manage and organize housekeeping cart with necessary supplies and equipment.
Required Skills
- Proven ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Excellent attention to detail and thoroughness in all tasks.
- Good physical stamina and ability to perform tasks requiring bending, lifting, pushing, and standing for extended periods.
- Reliability and punctuality, with a strong sense of responsibility.
- Basic communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Understanding of basic safety procedures and precautions when handling cleaning equipment and chemicals.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience (at least 1 year) in a cleaning or housekeeping role, preferably within a hotel or hospitality environment.
- Knowledge of various cleaning chemicals and equipment, and their safe and effective use.
- Familiarity with luxury hotel standards and guest service expectations.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules.
