Key Responsibilities
- Sort laundry items by color, fabric type, and degree of soilage.
- Operate commercial washing and drying machines according to established procedures and safety guidelines.
- Iron, press, and fold a variety of linen items, including sheets, towels, tablecloths, and staff uniforms.
- Inspect all laundered items for cleanliness, damage, and proper folding/hanging, ensuring high quality.
- Organize and deliver clean linen to designated storage areas or departments.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the laundry room and equipment.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the supervisor promptly.
- Assist with inventory management of laundry supplies and linens.
- Adhere to all hotel policies, safety regulations, and hygiene standards.
- Handle guest laundry requests with care and efficiency.
