Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior barbers with client preparation, including draping, shampooing, and conditioning hair.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the barbershop, including workstations, tools, and common areas.
- Learn and practice various barbering techniques, including fades, tapers, shaves, and beard trims, under direct supervision.
- Sterilize and maintain barbering tools and equipment according to health and safety standards.
- Provide excellent customer service, greeting clients, managing appointments, and ensuring their comfort.
- Assist with product recommendations and retail sales.
- Observe and learn proper client consultation methods and build rapport.
- Attend regular training sessions and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Support the overall smooth operation of the salon.
- Develop a personal understanding of different hair types, textures, and client preferences.
