Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrician to join our team in Kano. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment across our facility. This role demands a proactive individual with a strong understanding of electrical codes, safety regulations, and troubleshooting techniques. You will work independently and as part of a team, contributing to a safe and efficient operation. Daily tasks will include preventative maintenance, responding to emergency repairs, and collaborating with other maintenance personnel. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a proven track record of success in a similar industrial setting, possess exceptional problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to maintaining the highest safety standards. Key Responsibilities
- Install and maintain electrical systems and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults.
- Conduct preventative maintenance on electrical systems.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and codes.
- Prepare and maintain accurate documentation.
- Collaborate with other maintenance personnel.
- Respond to emergency repairs in a timely and efficient manner.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
