Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Food Processor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing yam flour and cassava chips, ensuring that all products meet our high standards of quality and hygiene. This role involves operating and maintaining processing equipment, following established procedures, and adhering to strict safety protocols. You will work closely with other team members to ensure efficient and timely production. You will be involved in the entire process from raw material handling to finished product packaging, ensuring quality control at every stage.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating and maintaining food processing equipment, including peelers, grinders, and dryers.
- Ensuring the consistent quality and hygiene of processed products.
- Following established procedures and recipes to maintain product consistency.
- Adhering to strict safety and hygiene standards, following all relevant regulations.
- Assisting in the cleaning and sanitization of equipment and work areas.
- Participating in quality control checks throughout the processing process.
- Assisting with the packaging and labeling of finished products.
- Working effectively as part of a team to achieve production targets.
- Reporting any equipment malfunctions or quality issues to the supervisor immediately.
- Maintaining accurate records of production output and materials used.
