Key Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, masons, plumbers, electricians) with tasks as directed.
- Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work site by clearing debris, trash, and unused materials.
- Dig trenches, backfill excavations, and level earth using hand tools or shovels.
- Operate basic hand and power tools under supervision.
- Prepare sites for concrete pours, including laying rebar and formwork.
- Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Perform general maintenance and upkeep of tools and equipment.
- Help with site setup and dismantle upon project completion.
- Follow instructions from site supervisors and senior team members.
- Support with other labour-intensive tasks as required to keep the project on schedule.
