Key Responsibilities
- Perform exterior car washing, including pre-soak, scrubbing, rinsing, and drying of vehicles using appropriate equipment and cleaning solutions.
- Conduct interior vehicle cleaning, including vacuuming carpets and upholstery, wiping down surfaces, cleaning windows, and polishing interior trim.
- Execute comprehensive auto detailing services, such as waxing, buffing, tire shining, and engine cleaning, to achieve a high-quality finish.
- Inspect vehicles for cleanliness and quality assurance before presenting them to customers.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools, equipment, and supplies are properly stored and accessible.
- Operate car wash equipment safely and efficiently, performing basic troubleshooting and reporting any maintenance issues.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service, addressing customer inquiries and ensuring a positive experience.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and operate point-of-sale systems if required.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and company policies, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals.
- Assist with other general station duties as needed, contributing to overall team success.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and a meticulous approach to work.
- Excellent physical stamina and ability to stand, bend, and lift regularly.
- Basic communication skills in Kinyarwanda or English to interact with customers.
- Reliability and punctuality for scheduled shifts.
- Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines rigorously.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in car washing, auto detailing, or a similar service-oriented role.
- Knowledge of various car cleaning products and detailing techniques.
- A valid driving license is a plus, but not mandatory for this role.
- Customer service experience in a retail or service environment.
