This role requires someone who is proactive, physically fit, and capable of working effectively in a fast-paced retail environment. You will be directly responsible for the accurate receiving, checking, and preparing of merchandise for the sales floor. This includes verifying deliveries against invoices, identifying any discrepancies, and organizing stock efficiently in storage areas. Implementing effective merchandising strategies, based on sales data and seasonal trends, will be a core part of your daily activities. Furthermore, you will meticulously monitor stock levels, conduct regular inventory counts, identify slow-moving or expired items, and ensure proper product rotation (FIFO – First-In, First-Out) to maintain freshness and reduce shrinkage. Beyond the operational aspects, you will also contribute to a positive and collaborative team atmosphere, working closely with sales associates, cashiers, and store management to achieve shared goals and enhance overall store performance.

Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unpack, and accurately check incoming merchandise against invoices and purchase orders.
- Stock shelves, fridges, and display areas according to store planograms and merchandising standards.
- Ensure proper product rotation (FIFO) to minimize waste and ensure product freshness.
- Monitor inventory levels, identify stock discrepancies, and report stockouts or overstock situations.
- Create and maintain appealing product displays, ensuring clear pricing and promotional signage.
- Conduct regular stock counts and assist with inventory reconciliation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of sales floor, backroom, and storage areas.
- Assist customers with product location and inquiries as needed.
- Collaborate with store management and sales teams to implement promotional activities.
- Identify and report any damaged, expired, or slow-moving products.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Operate basic store equipment safely and efficiently.
