Brain and Hammers Limited is actively seeking a proactive and resolute Security Supervisor to expertly oversee all security operations within one of our exclusive, high-end gated estates located in the prestigious Maitama district of Abuja. Key Responsibilities
- Lead, supervise, and mentor a team of security guards, ensuring adherence to established protocols and professional conduct.
- Implement and enforce comprehensive access control procedures for residents, visitors, and vendors.
- Regularly patrol the estate perimeter and internal areas, identifying and addressing potential security vulnerabilities.
- Monitor and operate CCTV surveillance systems and other security technology, responding promptly to suspicious activities.
- Develop and execute emergency response plans for various scenarios, including fire, medical emergencies, and security breaches.
- Conduct thorough incident investigations, document findings, and prepare detailed reports for management.
- Liaise effectively with local law enforcement agencies and emergency services when necessary.
- Provide ongoing training and drills for security personnel to enhance their skills and readiness.
- Manage key control systems and ensure the security of all estate common areas and facilities.
- Ensure strict compliance with all company policies, procedures, and relevant security regulations.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all security-related concerns from residents and management.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in security operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Demonstrable leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong knowledge of security protocols, procedures, and best practices for gated communities.
- Proficiency in operating CCTV systems, access control software, and other security technologies.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Strong observational and analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Physical fitness and ability to perform duties that may require prolonged standing, walking, and occasional physical intervention.
