Job Description
The ICRC is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Disaster Relief Worker to join our team in Maiduguri, Borno State. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing emergency assistance to vulnerable populations affected by conflict and natural disasters. This involves a wide range of activities, from needs assessments and distribution of relief supplies (food, water, shelter, medical supplies) to community engagement and capacity building. The role demands physical resilience, strong interpersonal skills, adaptability, and a deep commitment to humanitarian principles. You will be working closely with a dedicated team of professionals in a challenging yet rewarding environment, contributing directly to improving the lives of those affected by crisis. Key Responsibilities
- Conducting needs assessments in disaster-affected areas.
