Key Responsibilities
- Crafting and serving a diverse range of coffee beverages (espresso, latte, cappuccino, americano, etc.), specialty teas, and other non-alcoholic drinks to hotel guests and visitors with consistency and artistry.
- Operating, maintaining, and performing routine cleaning of various coffee machines, grinders, and other café equipment, ensuring they are always clean, calibrated, and in excellent working condition.
- Taking customer orders accurately, processing payments using the hotel's POS system, and providing exceptional, personalized service with a friendly and engaging demeanor.
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and inviting café environment, including seating areas, counters, and display cases, adhering strictly to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Managing inventory for coffee beans, milk, syrups, pastries, and other essential café supplies, conducting regular stock checks, and placing timely orders to ensure continuous availability and minimize waste.
- Assisting with the preparation of simple food items such as pastries, sandwiches, or light snacks as required by the café menu and guest demands.
- Collaborating seamlessly with the hotel’s room service team to prepare and dispatch beverage orders for in-room dining, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to guest rooms.
- Resolving guest concerns or complaints promptly and professionally, demonstrating empathy and problem-solving skills, and escalating complex issues to management when necessary.

Required Skills
- Proven experience (minimum 1.5 years) as a Barista, preferably within a hotel, high-end café, or a high-volume restaurant setting.
- Exceptional coffee knowledge, including understanding of bean types, roasting profiles, various brewing methods (espresso, pour-over, French press), and proficiency in latte art.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to engage positively with a diverse clientele.
- Ability to work efficiently, gracefully, and productively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks and orders simultaneously during peak hours.
- Excellent attention to detail and an unwavering commitment to maintaining high standards of quality, consistency, and hygiene.
