The Roundhouse is seeking enthusiastic Part-Time Ticket Takers to join our front-of-house team. As the first point of contact for our diverse audience, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth, welcoming, and memorable experience for every guest attending our concerts, theatre productions, and other events. Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet all guests upon their arrival at the venue.
- Accurately scan and validate tickets using handheld devices for entry.
- Provide clear directions and guidance to seating areas, facilities, and other points of interest within the venue.
- Manage queues efficiently and courteously, ensuring a smooth flow of entry.
- Act as a primary source of information for guests regarding event schedules, venue policies, and general enquiries.
- Conduct bag checks in accordance with security protocols when required.
- Assist with crowd management and maintain a safe and orderly environment.
- Report any issues or incidents to the relevant supervisory staff promptly.
- Maintain a professional and friendly demeanour at all times, even during busy periods.
- Support the wider front-of-house team as needed to ensure successful event delivery.
