Job Description
MUFG Union Bank is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Analyst to join our growing team in Los Angeles. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. This role requires a blend of technical aptitude and business acumen to translate complex business requirements into actionable solutions. You will work closely with stakeholders across various departments to understand their needs, analyze processes, and develop effective recommendations. Key Responsibilities
- Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders.
- Develop process models, data flows, and other documentation to support requirements.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications for developers.
- Conduct feasibility studies and impact assessments.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize and manage projects.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives).
- Perform data analysis to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and deliver presentations to stakeholders.
- Ensure requirements are aligned with business goals and objectives.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices and technologies.
Required Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience with business process modeling and documentation techniques
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience gathering and documenting business requirements
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field
- Experience in the financial services industry
- Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
- Experience with data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Tableau)
- Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA)
