Atlantic Beach Estate is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Tour Guide Assistant to join our dynamic team in Melkbosstrand. This is an exceptional opportunity for an individual who is eager to embark on a career in tourism, supporting our experienced tour guides and enhancing the guest experience for residents and visitors exploring the beauty of our region.

As a Tour Guide Assistant, you will play a crucial role in the smooth execution of various tours and activities, ranging from local Melkbosstrand excursions to broader Western Cape adventures. We are looking for someone with an innate sense of hospitality, excellent organizational skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. This role requires a commitment to safety, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to adapt to varying situations, ensuring every tour is seamless and enjoyable for all participants.

During tours, you will be on hand to manage group logistics, help with any guest inquiries, and provide practical assistance, whether it’s distributing water, managing embarkation/disembarkation, or ensuring all participants are comfortable and engaged. A key aspect of this role involves developing and sharing your knowledge of Melkbosstrand and the wider Western Cape region, contributing to the narrative and offering interesting facts about local wildlife, history, and natural landmarks. You will also be responsible for maintaining an organized and presentable tour vehicle (if applicable) and ensuring that all safety protocols are meticulously followed. Post-tour, you will assist with debriefing, collecting feedback, and preparing reports to help us continually refine our offerings. This position is perfect for someone who is not only a team player but also possesses a proactive attitude, a warm and approachable demeanor, and an unwavering commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. You will be instrumental in creating memorable moments for our guests, reflecting the high standards of Atlantic Beach Estate in every interaction. Join us in providing unforgettable journeys and contributing to the vibrant tourism landscape of the Western Cape.
